1vs1 & WE B*GIRLZ RESULTS

In a night of electric b-boy and b-girl action Niek of Holland won the 1v1 battle against Vicious of America while Japanese b-girls LiL FeNeSiS and yuRie snatched victory against popular home favorites, the French crew Aliya and Marion.
For Niek, it was a triumph of power moves and energy over Vicious, who was visibly tired in the final battle.
"Vicious sat down," judge Taisuke said. "That's not good. You have to battle to the finish."
Niek was elated by the result. "I feel so happy," he said. "BOTY is THE competition. I've been watching it since I started breaking. I'm happy, what can I say — it's crazy."
The dutchman showed off a number of power moves, freezes and flips that brought cheers from the audience at the venue, Maison des Choeurs, a disused church.
Off the stage the action was just as exciting with some serious battling taking place between some French and Israeli crews in the audience.
Later, at the Rockstore, the b-girls showed why they should be taken as seriously as the boys. While the French crew had the most supporters, it was a 12-year-old Italian b-girl, Alessandrina, who drew the biggest cheer from the audience with some prolonged head spinning that finished with a provocative freeze.
But ultimately the night belonged to Japanese duo LiL FeNeSiS and yuRie who wooed the crowd and the judges — MovieOne, Poe One and Valentine — with great footwork and synchronicity.
