DJ Renegade
The birth of Hip Hop in the UK signaled the arrival of DJ Renegade. Beginning as a dancer in 1982, he progressed to spinning in 1986. DJ Renegade specializes in providing music for breakers, poppers, lockers and hip-hop. This veteran DJ has been involved with almost every major global b-boy event because there is no stopping with his heavy beat dropping!
MC Maleek
Hailing from Lille, this activist rapper arrived on the scene at Braun BOTY four years ago and never left. Maleek’s commanding voice controls the room, and it’s his vocal authority that ensures events run smoothly. This organizer of the Braun BOTY qualifiers in Northern France commands the respect of the b-boys waiting for his call.
DJ Tajmahal
DJ TajMahal is an active promoter of the development of the Hip Hop scene in the South of France, and has organized concerts with artists such as Das Efx, The Roots, Ideal J, Busta Flex, The FF and IAM. Djing since 1984, TajMahal is an outstanding composer of innovative and original break-beats and has been a resident DJ of Braun BOTY France for many years.
MC Trix
Trix is a major stage presence with his unpredictable dress (he changes approximately 15 times a day) and unique voice. His trademark phrases have become part of Braun BOTY history and it is not uncommon for Trix to be yelling, “Let the battle begin! One breaker, one move!” Trix is a force of nature and an irrepressible personality that embodies the spirit of Braun BOTY.
